Episode 1 --
I've been responsible for creating a 180° Environment Projection setup to use on a dozen of shots.
Starting from the initial work of Julian Calle (Concept) and Arnaud Pecqueur (DMP), I developed the look of the sequence and took care of the matte painting, the projection setup.
I also had to manage some overrides on a shot basis while preserving the continuity of the shots. Finally I also did some 3D layout work to add some CG trees in the foreground.
Episode 2 --
While Hubert Zapalowicz took care of the valley / bottom part of this environment, I did quite a lot of work (layout, sculpt, dmp, projSetup) - alongside Pablo Del Molino - to create the cliff and top section of this environment.
Episode 5 --
Reusing part of the Episode 2 environment - I recreated the cliff face in DMP, which gave us the opportunity to add more interest/parallax/details to the cliff and help sell the shot.
The guys in assets did a great job extending the top area of the cliff. I then provided some DMP patches and 3D renders (mostly rock scattering) to Comp to add the last details.
